Terms of Use

Draft for review. This page must be reviewed by an attorney before Storyfold accepts payments or opens public signups.

These terms are an agreement between you and Alpha Social Media LLC ("Storyfold"). By creating an account or using Storyfold, you agree to them.

1. Accounts

You must be 18 or older to create an account. Keep your login private. You are responsible for activity on your account.

2. Library books and printing

  • Each plan includes a set number of library titles. Choosing a title adds it to your shelf, and you can print any of its available editions as often as you like for your own household.
  • Printed books are licensed for personal, non-commercial use in your home, classroom, or similar setting. You may not sell, republish, or redistribute library books or their files.
  • If a book is removed from the library, it may no longer be available to download.

3. Plans, billing, and cancellation

Free accounts include 3 library titles for life. Paid plans renew automatically each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, and your plan stays active through the end of the period you paid for. Monthly allowances and Story Tokens do not roll over. 4. Stories you create

  • You own the stories, characters, and pictures you create or upload.
  • You give Storyfold permission to store, process, and display that content to run the service for you. If you publish a book to the public library, you also give us permission to show it and let other members print it for personal use, until you make it private.
  • Only upload content you have the right to use. Do not upload other people's copyrighted characters, artwork, or text.

5. AI-generated content

Creator tools use AI to clean up text and create illustrations. AI output can be imperfect or unexpected. Please review every page before you print or publish. Story Tokens measure AI usage as described on the Plans section of our site.

6. Content rules

Storyfold is a family service. You may not create or publish content that is sexual, hateful, violent in a graphic way, harassing, or illegal, or that exploits or endangers children in any way. We may remove content and close accounts that break these rules.

7. Service changes

We are always improving Storyfold and may change or remove features. We will give reasonable notice of changes that materially affect paid plans.

8. Disclaimers and limits

Storyfold is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri.
